Judy is an example of what consistent training can do – I often compare exercise to investing, and reaping the benefits of compound interest. If you just put in a little everyday, your results will compound and your everyday strength and orthopedic durability will greatly benefit you forever.Â
Judy manages her diabetes and bone density (she is osteopenic) through strength training 2-3 x/ week which also allows her to remain active with her kids and grandkids. Mostly, she loves working in her yard and volunteers at the St. Louis Botanical Garden putting in long hours digging, pruning, getting down on the ground, carrying rocks, spreading mulch, and much more! We enjoyed shooting this highlight video of one of her workouts.
Wanting to record some progress made over the last several years, we decided to film about 55 minutes straight of video on Judy’s 74th birthday. She was only getting warmed up – jumping rope, picking up a 61 pound kettlebell, knocking out push ups and more!
